You can rent this beautiful rustic house with outstanding views of a spectacular world heritage site, among one of the most photographed in Turkey. The area has UNESCO listed world patrimony for its natural and cultural value.
Living at a height of 1300m you will appreciate the coolness of the evenings during the summer months. From the rooms or the terrace you can watch the changing light every hour of the day until a magnificent sunset is painted across the sky, and then at night the site is illuminated creating a fairytale atmosphere.
The house has two bedrooms; one being a family size with an extra single bed alongside the double bed. There is a large bathroom with twin showers and sinks. The kitchen has a fridge and a hob and the indoor living space is open plan with a large dining table central to the room. The comfortable seating area also provides a single bed if needed. Terrace access from bedroom and living area with stunning views across the historic landscape.
There is a vast outdoor living space with the terrace having a built in barbecue and large dining table, below is a walled courtyard and garden from which doors open down into some caves which have yet to be restored.
The house is ideal for 4 to 6 persons.
Facilities : Electricity (220V), gas hob, hot water, portable heaters, small television with satellite system. GSM cellular phones work perfectly in the village. Bedding, bed-linen, and towels are provided.
Uçhisar is a magical place to stay to explore and discover Cappadocia. You can walk, drive, ride a motorcycle or quad bike, go horse riding or, for an unforgettable experience; fly in a hot air balloon. There are many historical sites to visit and bazaars to browse. In nearby Goreme there are many cafes, bars and restaurants all worth visiting. Within 200 metres of the house in Uchisar you will find useful local shops, a post-office, local buses, taxi, restaurants, cafes and a pharmacy. Also within walking distance is the famous Museum Hotel with its cocktail bar terrace and international restaurant.
Reception : Arrangements will be made to accommodate your arrival time. One of the owners of the house is based in the next village (Goreme) most of the year and he will open the house and welcome you.
Services : The house will be cleaned before and after your stay. If you are staying a length of time and require clean linen and towels, this will be provided.
